I hear a lot of people both astrologers and clients wondering on the importance of the map in terms of free will vs. determinism.
As I am a new age person I want to approach the issue from the perspective of opportunities, gifts and stones that are laid on your path. Like a road map you can wonder what to do with the information of the gas stations, motels, bridges, and other things along the way.
What I can tell you is read the map closely if you need a break to buy products, have a pee stop, fill gas, you’ll know how to plan your drive in the most efficient way.
If I or anyone else tells you that this planet is going to meet this planet on this date and the result would be intense, you could decide to dedicate this time for reflection, exactly as you would decide not to start you trip on the same day the roads are closed for a marathon, or constructions.
Sure there are different energies on different days, sure there are things that you are going to come across on your way, but what does that mean?
I believe that it means that you can navigate your ship better when you have full knowledge of the conditions of the road, the weather, global politics, economy and other factors.
Similarly if you enter the journey of your life with open eyes you can have a much more pleasant journey, the sea may stay the same, the storms may stay the same but you can navigate much better when you are not constantly responding to sudden change in the conditions but know about the singularities of the road to some extent.
I saw an interesting discussion of the same question by
Chris Brennan from the perspective of the stoic.
In the new age everything, both thought and faith are much more flexible than that, at least I believe it to be so.
