He really is way off base. Does he realize how high the great basin which he shows flooded really is? While the spreading of the great African rift may have a point, it is fairly far fetched. The expanding of the Arabian gulf rift area makes far more sense.

The mechanism for much of the massive mountain subsidence is so far out to be beyond making fun of... The best thing is roll your eyes and try not to laugh out loud.
